iSoftStone donates PPE to local hospitals

Donation Drive – Purchase and Delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

In April 2020, employees in our New York and Seattle offices have launched a fundraising campaign to provide N95 masks, gowns, and other personal protection devices to local hospitals. iSoftStone will match employee donations up to $5,000.

“Although we are a relatively small company, we want to do our part to support healthcare workers as they meet the challenges of this crisis,” said Anna Xu, head of iSoftStone North America.

Employees initiated the campaign and will be choosing which hospital receives the donations. “We encourage our employees to reach out and serve the community. This is a great example of that commitment.”

On June 23rd we completed our donations by delivering 300 gowns to the Kline Galland Home in Seattle. Thanks again to our wonderful employees for donating to this great cause!

Donation

With your donations and the company matching, we were able to purchase 3,000 KN95 masks and 300 protective gowns for local hospitals!

Delivery

Next week we will be (no-contact) delivering 1,600 KN95 masks and 40 gowns to the UW Medicine. We also have 1,400 KN95 masks and 60 gowns on the way to a New York hospital. We are still awaiting the arrival of the additional 200 protective gowns to clear customs before we distribute them.

Gratitude

We would like to express our appreciation for all those that donated and made this possible! Together (6 feet apart) we can do great things!
