Do’s and don’ts of accessibility: simple best practices to remember

iSoftStone’s Accessibility Do’s and Don’ts series is our effort to raise awareness to building and creating digital content in a way that’s usable for everyone. The content that was presented in this series, while simplistic, aimed to help people think about their users and how they might use a computer differently than someone else.

At iSoftStone we take matters of accessibility seriously, and we want to share with you some of the things we’ve learned. We want people to know that accessibility matters, that developing a greater sense of empathy is critical, and that there are practices that can be put into place to make your content, sites, and apps more inclusive.

We have taken our five part Accessibility Do’s and Don’ts series and stitched them together into one PDF file. We would love for you to download our Accessibility Do’s and Don’ts info graphics and share them with your teams to raise awareness around the importance of accessibility compliance. Print them out and hang them around the office. Email them to others you think would benefit from learning more about accessibility. Help get the word out that developing and designing for accessibility is good for everyone.
