Our client, a multi-national sports apparel corporation, found asset management to be a challenge. Assets were difficult to find, not consistently managed and lacked version control. Usage rights management was non-existent resulting in manual workarounds and duplication of work. Collaboration between teams and partners was not possible. Without a robust metadata taxonomy, assets were extremely difficult to find by key words.
iSoftStone created a centralized asset repository using the Nuxeo Digital Asset Management platform. With unlimited ability to scale and cloud-native architecture, the global brand now has the ability to centrally manage important intellectual property from a single secure location. Features such as usage management were implemented which enables collaboration by allowing partners to access permitted assets from a centrally managed location. iSoftStone also helped deliver a bulk import function that was custom developed to enable large scale asset ingestion over high speed Aspera network technology. This function has improved transport speeds by a factor of 100.
Automation helps to follow established business processes and provides for a built-in tracking mechanism for work-in-process tasks. This introduces consistency and tracking.
